7.SOLUBILITY IN WATER AND SOLVENTS : Moderately soluble 
  in a range of organic solvents. Soluble in acetone, alcohol, 
   ether, xylene, kerosene. 
8.STABILITY : 
  More stable in acidic solution than in alkaline solution. 
  High thermal stability. Relatively nonvolatile. Stable to heat, moisture, 
  most organic solvents except alcohols.
 

Toxicity

DMSO (Rat): Oral LD50 451 mg/kg. Dermal >5000 mg/kg. 
(Rabbit): Dermal LD50 2500 mg/kg
Fish: LC50 0.42 ppb (96 h) (bluegill). 
Bird: Oral LD50 9932 mg/kg (mallard). 
Dietary: LC50 >10,000 ppm (quail); 5500 ppm (mallard)
 

Function

Acts on the nervous system of insects, disturbs the function of 
neurons by interaction with the sodium channel. 
It's a non-systemic insecticide and acaricide with contact and 
stomach action. Used for control of flying and crawling insects in
public health situations and in animal houses.
Also used as an animal ectoparasiticide.

Controlling spectrum

Uses Control of a wide range of pests, including those resistant to
 organochlorine, organophosphorus, and carbamate insecticides. 
Uses include control of chewing, sucking, and boring insects (particularly
 Lepidoptera, Diptera, Orthoptera, Hemiptera, and Coleoptera) 

Application crops

fruit, vines, olives, hops, nuts, vegetables, cucurbits, Cotton
oilseed rape, sunflowers, alfalfa, cereals, maize, sorghum, potatoes,
 beet, peanuts, soya beans, tobacco, sugar cane, ornamentals, forestry, 
and on non-crop land.
